Hello everyone! It’s Limor here today, and I’m sharing with your a super quick tutorial on some wooden panels I altered using Lindy’s Stamp Gang Color Shots. Lindy’s has many different colors to choose from, so if you chose to try to remake this project, you have a variety of color palettes to choose from. The possibilities are endless! Here’s what I used for my project:
- Wooden panels ( prepped with Golden Gesso)
- Tres Chic and Under The Boardwalk Color Shots
- Stabilo All Pencil
- Unity Stamps by Donna Downey
Here’s what I did: 1. I filled my Color Shots with water. 2. I splattered the wood panels with several colors from the Tres Chic and Under the Boardwalk Color Shots Sets. 3. I allowed them to dry overnight, then Added the stamps with a black permanent ink.
4. I Went over the faces with a Stabilo All Pencil ( charcoal pencil), and made the faces my own to give them a bit more character.
I colored the rest of the eyes and mouth with Gelatos, and added a title to represent the piece.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today, and try some projects using Color Shots yourself! Until next time! Limor
