Hello everyone!
Today I decided to do two book covers to show you techniques with both white, and black gesso.
In the first part of the video I work a blanket with metal embellishments, and buttons and show that the sprays cover the surfaces very well.
In the first example, I used black gesso, and you can see all the effects that the Starbusts and Flat Fabio have. The color comes out very well. I also used scraps of canvas. that I had left over from the project I made in my previous post from this month.
I show you also how to make your own glaze paint sprays on the video.
In the second part of the tutorial, I made an example using white gesso, and I added mulberry paper flowers, as well as some resin pieces from Prima. I love working with a lot of texture and I went all out.
On my base, I also used some embossing powder from Lindy’s Stamp Gang, which I love love love!
Hope you go ahead and watch my video, and are inspired to create your own.
I used all the exclusive products of the September 2014 Color Challenge Limited Edition MEGA Set.
Sprays:
– Danny Zuko’s Denim
– Ocean Breeze Blue
– Gag Me With a Spoon Gray
– Cowabunga Copper
– Fuzzy Navel Peach
Embossing powder:
– Silver Moon Mistletoe
– Desert Moon Copper Teal
– Cleopatra’s Copper
– Madonna Dress Blue Gold
– Hyacinth Blue Jade
