Hello friends! It’s Elena Smoktunova here today, with an in depth look at what I did to create the layout featured on the October Color Challenge reveal post. Did you miss it? For the challenge reveal, as you might have seen, I created this layout.
I wanted to make something special with the beautiful and gentle photo. I painted the flowers using this month’s soft palette, and the placement of the colors gives the layout a sense of fluidity and beauty. 
The sepia toned picture, combined with these soft colors, makes for a perfect pop of color, which allows the photo to be the focus.
