“Experimenting with Lindy’s” by Lizzy Wurmann

Hi friends,

I’ts Lizzy with you today.

I’m always trying new products and techniques and this time I found a forgotten linseed (or flax seed) oil I had in my stash for years.

I preped some pages covering them with it, and found out that the paper looks more transparent and in some cases like vellum. The colors I applied look substantially deeper  with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays . I also noticed that the shimmer of the paint stays almost intact on the surface.

  1. Well how awesome is this?! WOW! You are so artistic! Will watch the tutorial to “look into this technique a little further”. hee hee Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Lizzy, Great technique, love the way the linseed makes the lsg sprays more richer in colour. The linseed acts a resist to leave the shimmer/mica on the top. Cant wait to use this in my work.
    Cheers Michele

  3. I enjoyed this video so much… I loved it when the page was just yellow/cream… then the book page was added with the stencil and I was in awe… I didn’t want anything else to be added b/c it was just beautiful – then things were added and I was thinking – oh no – it is going to be overkill (which I always do) but nooooooooo – every piece added was so beautiful and perfect! I think this page is beautiful – sooooooo well done! Perfect! Thank you for sharing!
