“Amazing You” Mixed Media Art by Marta

Hello everybody,
It’s Marta here. I would love to share with you today my new mixed media art journal page. I used the  November 2014 Limited Edition Spray Set.

To create my background, I used a canvas sheet, which was 100% cotton. I sprayed the canvas with water first, and then added colors from the sprays. When it dried, I teared the sheet into small pieces. I stuck the pices down to create some mixed colour backround. I used 3d Finnabair gel medium to glue the canvas pieces. Then, I covered all with touches of gesso.

I also added ‘Frolic in the Forest Black’ spray, and to outline the canvas pieces I used a pencil. The words are made from Thickers letters, the flowers some are  from Prima, and some are from my stash.
