Hello everyone! It’s Cindy Brown here with my last post as a Seasonal Designer for Lindy’s Stamp Gang. The fact that my term ends is sad , but I loved working with Lindy’s, and I’m so happy I got the opportunity I got to work with such extraordinary products. It will always be a pleasure to play with them!
I decided to make another altered object this time, and as you can see, it’s an old book! First I glued the pages together with soft gel gloss by Finnabair, which fortunately dries very quickly. To help with the process, if you have a thick book, you might need to remove some pages, as you don’t want the book to be be too big.
I used my sprays from the December Color Challenge to make a beautiful background. I didn’t use the red until the end of the project.
I put some resin and metal elements o which I covered with gesso, so I could still play with my sprays:
Starburst in Opal Sea Oats
Starburst in Azure Sea Asters
Starburst in Tibetan Poppy Teal
Flat Fabio in T-Bird Turquoise
And also adding a touch of my Magicals:
Tibetan Poppy Teal
T-Bird Turquoise
I added some flowers and finally I added Rizzo’s Rowdy Red both in spray form and magical.
I used some stamps by a Quebec company called Lime Citron and Archival black ink, as well as a charcoal pencil, to highlight.
Please check out the start to finish video on this project, I hope you enjoy!
Remember to join Lindy’s Color Challenge as you have a few days more to enter for a chance to win $50 gift card.
Thank you very much for all your comments throughout my term. I loved being an inspiration for you.
