Colorful Card by Elena Zemlyanskaya

Hi gang!

Do you love our February palette as much as I do? 🙂

I came to you today with a new card to share, inspired by our beautiful color combo.

Here is my card:

The background is made of pieces of simple watercolor paper, covered with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays. For the lower paper, I used two teal-blue sprays:

Caribbean Blue Flat Fabio

Delphinium Turquoise Starburst

For the upper piece of paper I used Bougainvillea Fuchsia Starburst and Angel Wings Gold Embossing Powder. After coloring it, I used a die-cut template to cut this beautiful flourish lattice.

I also used some Time Travel Teal Starburst to color the flower petals and Ramblin’ Rose Pink Magical for the feather.

Finally, I added some splashes of Frozen Jack Frost all over my project.

You can see the main steps of background creating in the video tutorial I created by clicking here. I missed the steps of decorative elements adding, as they are quite simple. Please enjoy watching!

And here are some close-ups of my card:

Look how the embossing powder shines!

I hope my card will insire you to join our color challenge! Can’t wait to see your beautiful projects!

Have a great day 🙂

Hugs

Elena

  1. Beautiful, bright and happy! The die cut is perfect to outline the awesome colors. The little bird, pretty feather and lovely flowers all add to its wonder. I really love the gold embossing – but, like an old crow, I love all things shiny! Thanks for sharing!
