Textured Mixed Media Layout by Stephanie Papin

Hello  everyone !

It’s Stéphanie here with  you  today, and I come to  share with you a project  made with  some of these beautiful colors from Lindy’s Stamp Gang!  Have you already seen our new color palette this month?  It’s very  bright and colorful, and it reminds us of spring, doesn’t it ?
So, it’s now time to show you my use of these colors!
My  Lindy’s products used :
– Magnolia Magenta Gold
– Alpine Ice Rose
– Summer Lovin’Sun
– Frostbitten Fuschia
– I’m Late, I’m Late Slate
To bring the effect of the designs above, I worked on textures: at the beginning, I used the colors on the paper several times one after the other. Once dry, I began to apply  modeling paste on top of the colors, which produce the first texture on my background. Then I continue to  work  with more colors on top of the paste. I  apply on  a second texture of  micro beads to my bacground. Once again, I continue to work  with colors here and there.  It’s very interesting to  work  the colors on different  textures… the results are  somewhat different every time you try it..

Please take a look at my video tutorial, and you can see exactly  how I’ve achieved my layers:

Here are some close ups of the details of my project: I hope you  like it! Thank you for stopping by here, and  see you soon when I’ll share another project with you!
