Colorful Journal Page Tutorial By Lizzy Wurmann

Hi all, It’s Lizzy today!

Inspired by the great artist Robin Mead  I created this colorful journal page with lots of sprays, stamps, die cut papers, acrylic paint, black and white markers and images from cards and papers she sent me.Letyourself copy

I waited for each color to dry before applying the next one.Sprays copySpraysD copy

For this step, I used an old flower and water drops stamps with black archival ink.

I  stamped the quote and with a white Sharpie I added random marks, filled some letters and made  splatters with acrylic paint. Flower copyFlower2 copy

I die cut leaves from Gelli prints, cut flowers and circles from Robin Mead’s papers, and made more marksFlowerfinalLetfinal2

I Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and are inspired to create your own using this month’s color challenge set. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, perfect for spring and summer projects.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Absolutely LOVE this LIzzy. I am always excited when I see your name because you always do such incredible things that just make me appreciate your style more and more. Thank you so much for the steps. Those leaves were great too – I need a cutter someday!! Love the Robin paper addition (another person I admire). j
