Serenity ATC Cards Tutorial By Marta Lapkowska

Hello everyone!

It’s Marta Lapkowska here.
I am back to you with my new mixed media tiny projects 🙂 For a long time I’ve been inspired, and enjoyed seeing ATC’s created by many of my crafty friends. I admired their pieces, but never had courage to create my own. Things changed when I received a beautiful ATC  from my friend Riikka. Right then I knew I had to try to make my own 🙂

ATCs  or Artist Trading Cards are minature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards. They are usually traded, or exchaned. It is a perfect way of exchaning your art with crafty friends. I started by colouring my paper with random drawings and splashes of sprays: Tibetan Poppy Teal, Maidenhair Fern Green, Summer Lovin’ Sun, Tilt-a-Wheel Teal.

I used a Prima Finnabair stamp, and embossed the image. I used Hyacinth Blue Jade embossing powder. It created great interest to my background. I have added bubbly image to all three ATC’s.

I also added modeling paste, mixed with Luscious Lime flat Magical. I used my paste through a Prima Bubble stencil. It gave additional texture and dimention. As my final touches, I added paper butterflies and stickers.I hope I encoured you to create your very own ATC.
Please feel free to check out my video tutorial belowto see how it all came together for me:
