Art Journal Spread by Elena Zemlyanskaya

Hello dear friends! Elena is here with you today, and I’m going to show you a new art-journal spread I’ve made using colors of our amazing July palette and  terrific Lindy’s Stamp Gang products.I started with a wish to test my new stencil – and I love so much how the result looks!

The stencil reminds me of leaves of some tree, so the whole spread turned to be about forest and nature.
I played with LSG Magicals a lot here!

First, I wondered how Merry-go-round green magical would look mixed with fiber paste. You can see the result in the photo below, I applied the colored fiber paste with stencilNext, I mixed two magicals with texture paste:  Pineapple Paradise and Sandra Dee sepia

You can see the result in the middle, and on the sides of the spread, the colored texture paste is also applied with stencil. The whole surface shines so brightly! I just love how Starburst sprays from the July set look on the pages:

Blue Hawaiian Blue

Dark Chocolate Truffle

I also added Flats  Bonjour Butter and Aloha Avocado to make the tints of my background richer. The dragonflies are colored with Blue Hawaiian Blue spray and embossed with Madonna Blue Robe Gold Powder

I also used some dried thuja leaves to decorate  the pages – they are covered with acrylic varnish which will prevent them from breaking.

As a final step I added some more color with Magicals:

I also prepared a video tutorial for you, hope you will find it useful 🙂 Please enjoy watching,  and enjoy creating new beautiful things with Lindy’s Stamp Gang!

Hugs!

Elena
