Watercolor Cards Tutorial by Natalie May

Hi there!

Natalie here today and I’m sharing an easy technique project that is kinda fun and a little relaxing too!

I don’t know about you, but I have accumulated quite a few stamps over my crafting years and love using them on my cards. I love the effect resist embossing has on water color paper, and pulled out a variety of stamps to have a play with to create some watercolor cards.

I have used Midnight Pewter Embossing Powder with the August Color Challenge set with the addition of Pirates Plunder Gold.

Here are a few quick and easy steps:I then placed each piece of 5×5′ watercolor card onto some black cardstock and all done!  These were so relaxing to make – I totally enjoyed creating these, and found it really easy to work with just 6 colors!
