Magicals and Mediums, a few of our favorite things!

Hello there!

It’s JaMajka here – Marta Turska – Grochocka.

I thought I would show you some of the textures you can get with Lindy’s Magicals , which are a powdered dye based pigments that can be painted with or mixed with mediums to colorize them.  I tested Magicals to show you how do they look after mixing with water, gesso, gel medium, multi medium matte and many others mediums.

In all of my examples, I used Prima Donna Purple from the new Drop Dead Diva Magical Set magicals- drop dead diva.

Here you can see some close-ups and details, showing shine, texture, glaze, color etc.
Compare it and pick an effect that you prefer.

Here you can see, how I used Magicals pigments to create Artist Trading Cards.

Here are techniques I used together with
Magicals pigments from Drop Dead Diva Magical Set.magicals- drop dead diva

You can see very clearly, that Magicals with different mediums have created different textures and effects.

Magicals even used only with pure water are creating different effects,
it depends of amount of water added to Magical pigment!
You can see an ombre effect created on guipure flower – using only 1 color of Magical!

Thank you for stopping by, I hope this product post will be useful and it will stimulate you to your own experiments with Lindy’s Stamp Gang products 🙂
Have a lovely day!
