Stunning Christmas Ornaments

Hello gang!
Have you already started all the preparations for Christmas?
Today I’d like to show you how you can alter some ordinary Christmas balls and transform them into something really unique.
I started with a couple of cheap plastic balls and this is what they turned into:

The process of decorating the balls is quite simple and creative. You can see the main steps in the video that I’ve made for you. Just take some gesso and texture paste, your favourite Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays and embossing powders – and start creating with all your heart 🙂 At the final you can add some alcohol ink (bronze streaks on my balls) and some stamping (use silicon stamps without hard block).

To color my balls, I used LSG sprays from December set:
Queen of hearts red
Cathedral Pines Green
Down the rabbit hole
Bombshell Black
Frozen Jack frost

I also used two kinds of Embossing powders: Purely white and Cafe au Lait

When doing embossing on plastic balls, remember NOT to keep your heat tool too close to the balls or the plastic might melt!

Have lots of inspiration and wonderful holidays!
Hugs,h

  1. Hi!!
I am in LOVE with your banner photo that you use for this blog. Did you happen to do a story or tutorial for the gorgeous tri-frame red flower pictures!? I am dying to see it!
