Hi my friends!
It’s Irina Gerschuk with you today and I’d like to share with you one of my projects created for the LSG May Color Challenge and a fun technique on coloring natural feathers with your Lindy’s!
Products used:
Some close-ups:
I’ve created the background using stamp and embossing powder. Then I’ve colored it with different LSG sprays and magicals
Here’s the closer look to the feathers.
I’ve colored them with LSG sprays and added more color by using magicals as the final layer
I’ve used LSG art glitter together with ep to color the chipboard
And one more closer look to the project:
And now lets talk a bit about the feathers!!
Here’s the result I achieved by playing with LSG products and mixing different colors
Feathers don’t absorb moisture as paper, you need to give it some time so the paint can be fixed on the surface
If you need to add more sparkle to the project just add some glitter:
If you’re not fully satisfied with the result you can always wash it with water (the color wouldn’t be washed off fully but it became very faint) and start from the beginning!
And here’s the short step-by-step video tutorial on how you can color feathers:
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a lovely day!
Irina
Beautiful. Love the colour combination. Must look out for your products this weekend at the craft show in Pakenham, Victoria, Australia.
What kind of feathers were used in the video where they were colored with LSG products. Very interesting.
