Using Magicals to Create a Stunning Brush Collage by Yulianna Efremova

Hi Gang! It’s Yulianna Efremova here with an awesome mixed media creation.

Today I’m sharing a gorgeous brush collage colored with lots of different colors of Magicals from Lindy’s.

I’ve used Magicals from the following sets: Autumn Leaves, Haunted Halloween,  Prairie Wildflower, Victorian Bouquet, Jingle Bells, and Drop Dead Diva.

I started by adding designs using stencils, texture paste and gesso to a wooden board.

Then I added more texture by attaching chipboard embellishments, art stones and wire wrapped brushes.

Then I covered the whole piece with white gesso.

To create the amazing color, I added dry Magicals powder over the piece and then sprayed with water to activate the color.  I kept adding more Magicals powder until I created this super rich and vibrant effect.

To finish the collage and add some depth to the color, I’ve painted on some darker Magicals around the edges.

This little bit of darker color really makes the bright colors pop.

As the final touch, I have added some gold micro beads and some glass glitter.
