Hello Lindy’s fans, it’s Ekaterina Zenevich with you today and I want to show you how I made these beautiful mixed media canvases with Magicals and Embossing Powders from Lindy’s.
You can see the step-by-step process in the video that I have created for you at the end of this post.
For the background, I used Magicals Rizzo’s Rowdy Red, Sandra Dee Sepia, Tears on My Pillow Tangerine, Hibiscus Rose.
To start, I spritzed the canvas with water and then added a little of each color Magical to create a beautiful pastel background. After drying with a heat gun I added a few stamped images to the canvas.
The stamped images are covered with embossing powder Midnight Pewter, Purely White, Kaiser Russet Red.
Add some embossed images to the background and stamp, emboss and cut out large poppies from red paper.
Stamp smaller poppies on white card and then paint cut-out flowers using magicals Rizzo’s Rowdy Red, Tears on My Pillow Tangerine, Mango Mania.
Don’t all the different poppies look amazing with Magicals added to them!
Layer elements to create your canvas and embellish with more flowers and black pearls.
