I used Magicals to create the background. I poured some water into a saucer, then dipped a glass into the water and made watermarks on the paper. Then with a brush I added Magicals: Cotton candy pink, Frenchy’s pink pouf, Kissin kenickie coral and T-bird turquoise.
Then I used Summer Lovin Sun to add more color on the page.
Next, some doodling with archival ink.
Then I added stamps to complicate the background and Magical Dark Chocolate Truffle for shadows and Blue Hawaiian Blue to color the wings.
Then I added some white texture paste through a stencil to create texture on my page.
To finish, I added Sidewalk Chalk spray, three-dimensional color drops and added the quotes.
Here are some close-ups, so you can see how vibrant those colors are.
I love this technique as it’s easy and fun. You can use this on any project you wish. I hope you will grab your Magicals and make some art!
I’ve filmed a video tutorial especially for you, you can watch it below!
