Hello! Yulianna Efremova here and I’m going to show you, how I made this Mixed Media Shadowbox step-by-step using Starburst Sprays and Embossing Powders from Lindy’s.
I used many Starburst sprays including, Midnight Rendezvous Raven, Alpine Ice Rose, Rudolph’s Nose Red, Sandra Dee Sepia, Frozen Jack Frost
And used Embossing powder including, Queen Sheba’s Silver, Terra Cotta Rust, Midnight Pewter
BASIC TECHNIQUE
First I glued reels from adhesive tape.
Then I taped a bandage lengthwise and crosswise on the rear side of the shadowbox. Bandage also pasted on the front side between the reels.
I primed the entire shadowbox with black gesso.
I taped chipboard and plastic decorations onto the shadowbox. Then mixed pebbles with texture paste, and added them into the reels, where I will add photos later.
Add many colors of starburst sprays, then I mixed glitter with embossing powders and added onto the shadowbox.
I stamped over a sheet of watercolor paper and added some embossing powders, layering the colors diagonally.
Then I added, sprays in contrasting colors to the powders.
I added photos and embellishments inside the reels to finish my shadowbox.
I have filmed a video showing how you can make this, you can watch it below or on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.
