Hi Gang! It’s Solange Marques here , and today I’ll share with you an Art Journal Cover with Rust Effect, using Lindy’s Stamp Gang products, including Starbursts and Embossing Powder for color.
To create this project I’ve started by gluing some chipboard pieces onto the cover:
Then I’ve applied acrylic gesso over all of the elements.
Next, I’ve added Starbust Sprays in Canna Lily Burnt Orange, Cajun Carnelian Red, Golden Slight Bells, Dark Chococlate Truffle, Cocoa Bean Copper, Frolic in the Forest Black. I’ve applied Paste Primer mixed with Rust effect powder in some places and after added liquid reagents onto the powders to create ‘rust’.
I’ve waited for 24 hours and have then added more Starburst sprays, doesn’t the rust mixed with the Starbursts look amazing.
To finish the cover, I’ve added flowers and chipboard pieces covered in embossing powder Midnight Bronze.
Some details:
I have filmed a video to showing how you can make this, you can watch it below on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.
