Hello there thanks for stopping by. Today I have a little tag I have created using Lindys Stamp Gang Magicals in “Prima Donna Purple” & “Hi Maintenance Magenta” as well as some of the “Polka Purple” & “Purely White” embossing powders.
I just LOVE these two colors together & I have used these “Magicals” to color not only my tag but also the flowers. How beautiful do the flowers look all toned in with the tag?
I used the Prima Donna Purple Magicals to color some paper leaves that I had die cut, plus it adds a lovely shimmer to them too.
I heat embossed this little bird in Polka Purple embossing powder & I also sprinkled some Purely White Embossing Powder over the tag before heating it as I wanted to create some lovely white speckles over my tag.
A STEP BY STEP PHOTO TUTORIAL
#1. Stencil some texture onto tag, dry off & then spritz with water before adding the two colors of Magicals. Use some water to blend color & then dry off.
#2. Next dab tag randomly with embossing ink.
#3. Sprinkle some Purely White Embossing Powder onto tag before heat setting.
#4. Heat emboss a little bird with Polka Purple Embossing Powder.
#5. Spritz flowers lightly with water, then make a little puddle of both Hi Maintenance Magenta & Prima Donna Purple Magicals & brush on until you have the color you want on your flowers.
#6. Dry flowers off and set aside.
#7. Using the Prima Donna Purple Magicals, color some die cut leaves & a small resin birdhouse. Wipe excess color off birdhouse & dry these pieces off.
