Coloring Clay Embellishments using Lindy’s with Aga

Hi Lindy’s fans, it’s Aga here today with a yummy canvas colored using Lindy’s Starburst Sprays and Mists.  The technique I’ll be showing you in the video uses clay forms and wet wipes for an amazing effect.

Today I have prepared for you a video tutorial on how to make a beautiful background so grab your Lindy’s sprays and Magical Shakers.  The clay forms I used are not gessoed on purpose so that they are perfectly covered with Lindy’s colors.

Start by applying clay elements and metallic accents to your canvas.  Brush on some Magicals and then spritz with water to activate the powder.

Then spray with Starbursts and blot off the excess liquid.  Pay attention to how I clean the edges of the canvas- I try to make sure all of the color is concentrated around the clay forms.

Add one color of spray at a time and clean the edges of your canvas after spraying each color.

Dry canvas with a heat tool or embossing gun and dry brush a little gesso and some metallic paste over the top to enhance the texture.  Add photos and embellishments to complete your canvas.

I have created a video of the whole process so you can see exactly how this canvas was created.
