Hi Lindy’s scrapbooker’s fans!
I’m here with you today to show you another layout I made lately. I used gorgeous corals and purple sprays from the Lindy’s store like our August combo challenge. I love those colors so much and I wanted to give them another try this month.
I mixed different shades of Flat fabio and Starbursts sprays.
I always start with a coat of clear gesso to protect my paper and make the ink react well. My background paper is purple so to make the corals pop more I put a coat of white heavy gesso where I wanted my inks. I started with Flat fabio Kissin’ Kenickie coral and Starburst Cocklebells coral mixed together. The mix of two tones vary the shade and gives more depth. You can see the fabulous shimmer of the Starburst spray.
I mixed Flat fabio Kissin’ Kenickie coral with white gesso to have a kind of paint to make splatters.
I sprayed Starburst Magnolia Magenta gold, my favorite purple shade, on a piece of fabric.
My title was embossed with Hollyhock scarlet plum powder and my stamped flowers were colored with Starburst Tea pot purple.
I made a short video of my process that you can watch here:
