Bright and Punchy Cards with Nat

Hey there Gang!  Natalie here sharing a few gorgeous cards using simple & quick techniques that look super effective and are really quick to make all you need is a little Lindy’s Magic (well Magicals)!  This whole set of 6 cards took me less than 45mins to make and I thought the best way to showcase the stunning color of the backgrounds was with basic white cardstock & a few dies!

I started with flat white cardstock and cut out shapes using my Sizzix Machine.

I then used four colors of Magicals in a mixing palette – Witches Potion Purple, Hottie Patottie Hot Pink, Bachelor Button Blue & Bells of Ireland Green – and mixed with a little water.

Using a #12 Round brush, I quickly brushed on the color. I did it quickly as I wasn’t using watercolor paper and the flat cardstock absorbed the Magicals quickly leaving brush strokes – so I needed to work fast.

I then added another color while the first color was still wet & then splattered on a final color.

Each background was similar – though for some I used just one color for the background.

Some I added a couple of colors.

Once dry, I use glue to stick on the die cuts and then mounted them onto the card!

Simple & super effective!
