Hi there! It’s Solange Marques here today and I have a vintage art journal page to show you, created with Lindy’s Starburst sprays.
To start, I’ve glued torn papers on the pages of the book.
Then I’ve applied acrylic gesso on the pages.
And I’ve removed the excess with a wet sponge.
After, I added more elements and I’ve applied gesso again.
Then I’ve applied Starburst sprays: Salt Water Taffy , Clam Bake Beige and Cape Cod Coral.
I’ve added tea bags for more texture.
And to finish I’ve added some pictures and stamps.
Some close-ups.
I have also made a video tutorial, you can watch it here or on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.

hello, Solange, I have a question: about the vintage book, itself….do you tear pages out and glue the ones left together before you start your journal page, or do you leave the book pages as they are in the book as you found it and continue with your journal page???? I need to know how to set the book, itself, up to do the journal page in it…..thanks, Bev
