Hello there, Di here today with a quick Step-by-Step tutorial on how I created this little Tag Card using some beautiful Lindys Stamp Gang products.
These little “Tag/Cards are so easy. Just cut a tag to whatever size you want & then get another piece of cardstock, crease to make a fold & trace around the tag so that it is a tiny bit bigger & cut out.
Then decorate the tag.
I have started off by adding some various washi tape strips & some drywall tapes. You can use anything for this as you don’t really see it, it is just to create texture.
The next step is to stick a whole lot of bits & pieces of chipboard on top, just use whatever you have lying around & then cover the entire tag with a heavy coat of gesso. Now comes the FUN part. I have used: Sassy Saphire Magicals from the Drop Dead Diva set & the Bachelor Button Blue Magicals from the Prairie Wildflower set to color up my tag. I just love the mix of the two colors creating shaded effects.Just use a brush & water & the Magicals do the rest.
For the next step, add a little bit of Lindy’s Stamp Gang Caribbean Blue mist applied with a brush & some water to the edges of the flowers for a hint of color.
After a coat of gesso I then used some Lindys Stamp Gang Sidewalk Chalk spray to color the chippie word & butterfly. I then finished off with some white Prills & a bow.
Now stick the tag onto the “tag/card” base using some foam dots for a bit of added dimension.
Well, that’s all from me for today. I hope I have inspired you in some small way.
