Hi my friends! Do you love embossing powders? I love them all. I love colors and effects you get with their use!
Today I have a tutorial for you on how I make my simple embossed background using Lindy’s beautiful embossing powders and some stamps. This is a quick way to make patterns from stamps. Just use the powder in the colors you like most.
The embossing powders give you a lot of possibilities. You can decorate them with chipboards, metal elements, flowers, papers and more. You can mix colors to get interesting effects.
The background uses TiffanyLou Blue. I love this color so much. It is so delicate and sweet.
Use the matching TiffanyLou Blue spray to add color to some of your paper elements and your project is instantly color coordinated.
I’ve added pale coordinating colors to some of the embellishments using Lindy’s embossing powders: Merci Beaucoup Mint, Purley White, Gutten Tag Teal, Tit-a-Wheel Teal, and Oom Pah Pah Pink. By staying with a pastel color palette it allows the photos to be the main element of my canvas.
Layer your embellishments to add a little height to the canvas and make it more interesting, and you are finished!
I’ve filmed a step-by-step video of the process so you can see how I’ve created this piece, I hope it inspires you to create your own.
