Welcome to the Jungle Guest Post by Dots to Lines

Hello friends,  Sunila and Aditi here and we are super thrilled to have been giving an opportunity to guest design for Lindy’s. Ever since we stepped into the world of Mixed Media, we got hooked onto the Lindy’s Sprays. We knew no other brand then, and are obsessed with them. Over years, we’ve grown our collections of sprays,  magical and embossing powders and creating with them is fun!

Here’s a little about us:  My mother- Sunila Mahajan and I – Aditi Mahajan, started Dots to Lines and our forte is home decor, mixed media and altered art. Sunila Mahajan – has a diploma in commercial art, and displays her artworks in various galleries across the world. She has also worked as a Graphic Designer at Hameed Mugal, Kenya. Aditi Mahajan- With a MSc. in Clinical Psychology and Dip. in Special Education, has taken up arts and crafts since school days and also practised art therapy when working with children with special needs. She took up an art course from School of Visual Arts, New York. She is also a freelance writer.

We have been running a home decor business by the name of Dots to Lines and we handcraft products using techniques of mixed media and decoupage. We are into paper-crafting, layouts, journaling, album making and scrapbooking. Our style of art and craft is a fusion of techniques and usage of vibrant colours. We aim to spread joy.

We keep learning and try to incorporate variety in our creations.  We are a team of Mother and Daughter we love love working together.

Our creation

Today we decided to alter a cycle frame and create a Tropical Paradise Scene! We wanted to create a tropical scene and be lost in the magic of nature! We’ve done it in the mixed media style, and have a video showing the entire process:)! So sit back, relax and enjoy creating with us!

You can watch the video of our creation below:
