Hello friends!

It’s Marta here today and I would like to suggest you, how you can use decor clay elements in your projects and how to add a bit of color to them.

Basically, I started with a layer of gesso, dried it with a heating tool and then I used 3D matte gel to make sure my elements will be attached to my base in a right way.

I used crackle paste to add a bit of texture and a lot of art stones – small and medium ones. It makes my projects surface interesting and rich.

Now you can watch the video tutorial I prepared for you:

and a few close-up photos so you can see how beautiful that this looks.

As you can see, the surface is varied and it has many interesting elements.

I added a bit of color and dried it and I repeated it again and again – it will help to achieve cool ombre effect.

It’s really cool to work with decor clay elements, they absorb color and water so you can blend the color. You can add some tiny stains and speckles of color, but they should be dried immediately, as they can spread on the surface.

So this is my idea for using 3D decor clay elements in your projects, I hope you can find it useful and you will try to use decor clay elements in your projects too!

  1. Marta I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video showing how you created this small fabulous embellishment. This is an awesome idea and the result is wonderful. Great way to make use of the faces from molds.
    Thank you so much.
