Make A Wish With Mel KD

Hello there, Mel here today with a quick Step-by-Step tutorial on how I created this layout using some beautiful Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays.

To create my layout I selected 2 shades of blue: Tilt-a-Wheel Teal and Ocean Breeze Blue and completed with Café au lait.

I marked the position of my photo so I knew how to place the colors, then I applied some Ocean Breeze Blue on my white cardstock with a brush pen.

I decided to apply color behind my photo and at the bottom of my layout to balance the page.

Then I stamped with black, blue and brown inks – I chose colors that matched my photo and the background.

Next, I applied modeling paste to give texture to my layout.

I layered some patterned papers behind my photo to highlight and frame it.

Then I added some assorted embellishments: Die cuts, wood stars, hearts, Flair buttons…and my title

Play with the positioning of your embellishments until you are satisfied.

I also made some splashes with my Tilt-a-Wheel and Ocean Breeze Blue and Café au lait sprays.
