Altered Picture Frame with Cindy

Hi Gang! it’s Cindy here, with my first post as Lindy’s Designer! I’m so thrilled to be part of such a wonderful group of amazingly talented artists and can’t wait to show you this first project.

It’s actually my application project, so even though I’m on the Photo Design Team you’ll be able to watch a YouTube video of it, at the bottom this post.  I’ve altered a picture frame and used scissors as the focal point.

I’ve used black gesso as the background color. To create texture, I used modeling paste and Lindy’s Embossing Powder Lapis Lazuli Blue. I’ve mixed Crackle Paste (Facetten Lack) with Magicals Shakers to create my own custom colored texture paste and used it on the scissors to give extra texture. My beloved Starburst Sprays helped me achieve these gorgeous blue and teal color tones.
I’ve also used Sisal Vibre on the frame, which I love to add to projects, some art pebbles and lots of glitter. I would also like to show you the application video I made for this project, so you can see every step of the altered frame.
