Hi beautiful gang! It’s Mel here today and I want to share with you my latest project for the Lindy’s DT a Step-by-Step tutorial on how I created this pastel layout using some beautiful Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays.
I took a lovely combo T-Bird Turquoise, Sidewalk Chalk, Merci Beaucoup Mint, Salt Water Taffy
And choose an equally lovely photo of my beloved sister.
I started to work on my background with Salt Water Taffy
Then added Merci Beaucoup Mint & T-Bird Turquoise – add the color from the bottle with a paintbrush for better control.
I also made some splashes with Sidewalk Chalk
After the sprays dried, I stamped randomly with Grey, Black, Pink and Blue ink
Time to add more interest with texture paste and a stencil.
After everything dried it’s time to compose, starting with my layered papers.
Then I embossed my chipboard with Oom Pah Pah Pink and Cosmic Pink Blue. This created a soft and pretty pink on the title.
I can now take my embellishments (chipboards, die cuts, flowers, flairs buttons) and play to see what works on the page.
I compose my layout and when I’m fine with everything, I can glue the elements down on the page.
As a final touch, I made some splashes with my T-Bird Turquoise, Sidewalk , Merci Beaucoup Mint, Salt Water Taffy sprays.
And it’s done!
- Sprays: T-Bird Turquoise, Sidewalk Chalk, Merci Beaucoup Mint, Salt Water Taffy
- Embossing powder : Oom Pah Pah Pink and Cosmic Pink Blue
- Die cuts, wood stars, hearts, Flair buttons and title
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
I hope I inspired you!
