Blooming Canvas with Olga Ravenskaya

Hello dear Lindy’s friends!

It’s Olga Ravenskaya here and I’d like to share with you my new spring-ish canvas featuring gorgeous Lindy’s greens and pinks!

First, I prepared all the pretty goodies you see below.

And gathered my “Spring” set of Lindy’s beautiful colors πŸ™‚

To begin, I chose shades of green sprays and a stencil to make a background.

I applied two layers of colors through the stencil at the left upper corner, first – flat fabios, then – starbursts to add shimmer.

Then I turned over my stencil and used it just as a “stamp” for the right side of a canvas. Let it dry.

Next, I applied dark green color on my stencil and “stamped” all over the colored surface.

The photo above isn’t so pretty, but have a look at the lovely effect below πŸ™‚

To add more interesting texture I partially applied white modeling paste colored with the flat fabio through the same stencil.

And added splashes with Sidewalk Chalk Flat spray.

Then stamped using permanent black ink.

Next, I chose four shades of pink embossing powder to add color to chipboard twigs.

Dabbed the chip and then applied powders, color by color from the brightest shade to the palest one.

Have a look at this beautiful ombre effect!

For the birds I used two colors of sprays, just sprinkled partially over chipboard pieces. After drying I covered them with glossy accents to make a raised effect.

Next, I arranged a composition with all my embellishments as on the photo below.

Add toppings and tint some elements with pink and green using aΒ thin brush.

As a final touch I added flower soft, mini sequins and bright splashes using sprays.

Ready! Here is a result!

Ohhh! Forgot! I also colored the easel using the same sprays and decorated it with the flower branch.

Now ready! πŸ™‚

And some close-ups…
