Today I’m up on Lindy’s Gang blog with a vintage themed step-by-step layout. I chose to work with a photo of my father when he was a boy in the scouts in ’49.
First I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste and left it to dry.
While the crackle paste was drying, I painted some chipboard pieces with the Camouflage Effect Paste.
I added some random stamping with an brown Archival ink.
I glued the Art stones onto my layout with a soft matte gel.
And to finish the layout, I splattered some black paint.
Here are some close-ups:
- Moon Shadow – Mystic Malachite and Treasure Island Aqua
- Magicals – Industrial Chic (Rusty Lantern Lime)
- Embossing Powder – Orbit Olive Gold
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Scout layout,
