Today With Mel KD

Hi Beautiful Gang!!!! Mel here today to share with you a quick step-by-step tutorial using Lindy’s sprays to create a stunning background for my layout.

Let’s start with the background!

On white cardstock, I apply some modeling paste with a palette knife using a stencil from Aladine.

Let  the paste completely dry.

Now it’s my favourite moment! Play with the wonderful Lindy’s Colors, I started with Salt Water Taffy (which is my lightest color) and makes a really pretty base layer of color.

After that I added Raspberry Lemonade and Ramblin’ Rose Pink at the same time, letting the colors mix together and make a wonderful and varied Pink.

Then I add Marigold Yellow Orange and the background really begins to POP!

And Finally a little bit of Poinciana Red Flame just to give the colors some depth and extra oomph.

After drying the background, I added some random stamping using different colors of ink.

Now it’s time to choose some stickers and embellishments : flairs, die cuts, papers, title etc…

When I’m satisfied with my layout, I can glue everything down onto the background.

To finish, add some splashes of Lindy’s color with a brush, and IT’S DONE!!!!!
