Every Picture Tells a Story Layout

Hi Lindy’s fans!

Caroline here today to share new layout with you today. I love using the new Lindy’s Magical shakers and I want to show you how quick it is to make a gorgeous background with them!

I’ve also used the 3 color powders ombre embossing technique to cover my title chipboard which always gives an eye catching look!

Here’s a look at the layout we’re gonna make together today!

Let’s start with a watercolor paper for our background. I can never say too much how important it is to use a real watercolor paper if you want to obtain this gorgeous look!  Sprinkle a tiny amount of powder on the paper where you want your color.

Then grab a water sprayer and mist the powder just a little at a time. When the colors start to blend stop. We want to keep that magical effect pigments give us!

You can add more water after here and there if you have to much powder and want it to dissolve. Look how gorgeous the Magical Shaker Afternoon delight denim color is! There’s some turquoise shimmer in it and it’s simply amazing!

Then I grabbed a piece of lace and I sprayed it with the Flat fabio Urban Amethyst to get the bits of purple on my background.

For my chipboard title I used 3 tones of powders that coordinate with my background. I started with the lighter one,  Purely white and embossed the whole chipboard. Then I when over it with my embossing dabber and I added the light blue Tilt-a-wheel teal. Finally I dabbed just the top of my chippie and embossed it with Venus violet blue.

All done, now I just have to put embellishments here and there to finish my layout!
