Hey there Gang!
Today I am popping in with a little Lindy’s card class that I taught here in Adelaide over the weekend! This class is all about using up stuff from your stash and experimenting with different texture and mediums and cardstock with Lindys!
Each card uses a different medium through the stencil and then adding a layer of Moon Shadow, Flat Fabio or Starburst sprays.
This first one uses 13arts Gesso (my personal fave gesso ever) with a combination of Dress pattern, music paper, washi tape, flowers, glass beads, corrugated cardboard, calico & stickers.
I used Phantom Fuchsia & Magnolia Magenta Gold Sprays over the top and a StencilGirl stencil.
The next card uses Gel Medium through StencilGirl stencil, with paper from a dress pattern, Prima watercolour resist paper, a Basic Grey canvas tag, book paper, paperbark and a Pink Paislee resist chipboard star.
I’ve sprayed Moonlit Mulberry & Jazzy Jivin Purple sprays over the top.
For the third stash-busting card, I’ve used Modeling Paste along with Tissue paper, grunge paper (remember that?) florist mesh, film strip, scrapbook paper and a StencilGirl stencil.
I’ve sprayed Treasure Island Aqua and T-Bird Turquoise Lindy;s sprays over the surface.
For the fainal card, use Light Modeling Paste, book paper, wood veneers, chipboard, gauze, stickers and black mica flakes along with Buccaneer Bay Blue and Ocean Breeze Blue.
Each card looks awesome with the different strips of materials, texture and papers because the Lindy’s sprays absorb differently into each of the surfaces. Check out the video to see how I created all four cards!
