Fabric Lace Texture Technique with Anat

Hey gang,

I’m back today to share with you all how to add amazing texture using fabric lace with stunning Lindy’s Sprays, Magicals and Embossing Powders.

In my Step by step I’ll explain why this technique works so much better with Lindy’s products.

The first step is to adhere to the Hexagon box lid, and pieces of different patterns of fabric lace using liquid white gesso and brush more liquid gesso on top of the lace.
Dry it with a heating tool.

Add flower pattern lace on top of the dried lace using gel medium.

Add pieces of lace on the box sides using gel medium.

Paint the sides and the flower lace on the lid with liquid white gesso and dry with the heating tool.

Spread an uneven layer of white crackle paste over the box and let it dry and crackle by itself.

Spray all sides of the box with Blazing Black Spray, after drying give it a second spray and dry again.

Lindy’s Black spray is the very best for this technique because it goes into all the patterns and cracks without leaving a heavy layer on top of the lace or the paste. Better than black gesso the spray leaves patterns and texture high and crisp.

Give the box 2 layers of dry brush with heavy white gesso. Drying in between layers.

The fun part begins – spray gorgeous Tainted Love Teal Spray, Green With Envy Green Spray,  and Treasure Island Aqua vintage spray
Brush with a small paint brush Glory of the seas gold Magical Powder. Do it with light movements.
Don’t forget to dry in between sprays.

Isn’t it stunning?!

Give the box 1 layer of dry brush with heavy white gesso.

While the box is drying, color 2 mold prints with beautiful C’est la vie Cerise flat Spray, and let it dry.

Using your finger add a little bit of metalique wax on top of  the colored mold prints.

Hot emboss the chipboard with Midnight Gold EP then add a thin layer of Oakleaf Olive EP.

Spray the embossed chipboards with Tainted Love Teal spray, but don’t cover it completely.

To finish the altered box, arrange and adhere all elements on the lid using gel medium.

Spray a bit of Treasure sland aqua vintage spray over the elements, and so that they match the box give them a light layer of dry brush with white heavy gesso.

Ready! hope you like it!!

Now just a few close-ups to show you all the details.

I had so much fun creating this! You must give it a try!
