You know how much I love making cards right? Well… today I am sharing a few completely amazing cards with you that were created using the fabulous Lindy’s Magical Shakers!
Oh My Goodness, these are simply divine- and ridiculously easy! Using a 300gsm watercolor card, I stamped a heap of gorgeous images from Australian Company Darkroom Door using Black Archival ink. (This pic is from one of my recent workshops!) Using Archival ink will ensure that your stamped image won’t bleed once you add water!
I made a little mix of Magicals and water in a palette and colored all the images and then cut them all out!
Watercolouring made easy!
I then cut some watercolor card measuring 5×7 inches and used the Shakers to add color – just tap the tiniest bit of shaker powder onto your card!
Then I gave it a spray with water to activate the color and “BAM” … instant impact! I love that the Shakers let me add as little or as much as I like!
Just a tip … when you add the water, spray from the top, not the side to ensure that you don’t spread the water and powder across your table!
Here is a very short Video of the process and a sneak at one of the classes I taught last month making the cards!
The cards are just perfect for every occasion and the impact they make is awesome!

In fact, I’ll be teaching these exact cards around Australia – so keep an eye out for the Craft & Quilt Fairs and come and say hello!
Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to create with you soon!
