Hello Sweeties,
Today, I’m up on Lindy’s Gang blog with a new step-by-step layout. I worked with an old photo of me when I was two years old.
First, I stamped randomly with different stamps and inks.
When done, I primed the background with clear gesso.
I mixed together some Steel Shimmer and Polka Purple Magicals with 3D gloss gel to make my own unique pastes. I added a design with a stencil and this homemade paste along with some platinum crackle paste.
While the paste was drying, I colored a few die cut leaves with Smoky Sapphire and Scintillating Silver sprays.
I also embossed die cut snowflakes with Magic Moon Pearl EP, then I sprinkled them again with Pop Rock Purple EP and one last time with Queen Sheba’s Silver EP.
I embossed the flowers with the Pop Rock Purple EP.
I added a little bit of glue to the berries of the Holly branches. I sprinkled the glue with Holly Berry Red Gold EP and heat set it.
I colored the background with Smoky Sapphire and Polka Purple – such a gorgeous combination.
When done, I glued down all the embellishments as well as some roses.
To finish the layout, I added some glass glitters, mica flakes, and microbeads.
Close-ups:
And so you can see all the extra little things I’ve done I’ve filmed the project for you all!
