Autumn Canvas with Elena

Hello!

Warm Autumn to all ! Fallen leaves under your feet and the last solar heat!

Like the Thrifty squirrel, I already have a stuffed pantry with different supplies and have insulated the house. I certainly will not hibernate, but the time for creativity will definitely be more!

I decided to try out a new form of canvas – a circle. The canvas is made of two layers of corrugated cardboard and the fabric is sturdy. I’ve primed it with acrylic interior paint for the ceiling. A couple of layers is enough. Then it is necessary to dry properly, it is desirable to leave it for a day to dry and then it is possible to decorate.

I was inspired by our amazing November palette:

To begin, I decorated the background with Tweedle Dee Denim spray, textured paste tinted Magicals, white craquelure (crackle) paste and stamping.

The remnants of texture paste cover chipboard-twigs from 2 Crafty. When these were dry I added more embossing powders: Caesar’s Gold & Ghouly Goblin Green

Create your composition around a central element – I chose the photos with the squirrel. I added leaves, branches, flowers, black currant twigs, chipboard, butterflies, beetles and mushrooms. Then cover everything with a transparent medium and add shine and bright colors with sprays: California Poppy Gold Shimmer Spray,  Hag’s Wart Orange Shimmer Spray,  Medieval Gold Glitz Spritz

Add your favorite toppings, I’ve used products from Finnabair: Art stones & Glass Glitter – Gold Rush
