Altered Wooden Snowflake with Olga Bielska

Hi Gang! It’s Olga Bielska here and I come to you with a Christmas decoration which is a wooden snowflake. I decorated it using beautiful Lindy’s Stamp Gang products.

I’ve created a step-by-step video to show you all the details and techniques that I used to make this project.

Basic Process

I started by painting the wooden snowflake with white gesso and sticking on gauze.

Then I sprayed the snowflake with sprays: TiffanyLou Blue Shimmer Spray and Time Travel Teal Shimmer Spray.

The smaller wooden ornaments were also painted the white gesso, while the little snowflakes were colored with C’est la vie Cerise Embossing Powder.

Then apply the paper paste to the remaining decorations. When the paper paste was dry, I sprinkled it with Bratwurst Brown Magical Shaker and sprayed it with water.

The next step is to arrange the composition and add a little brown color using the Bratwurst Brown Magical Shaker mixed with water.

After thorough drying, I highlighted the details using the white gesso, and while the gesso is still wet, sprinkle with a bit of brocade.

To finish, I added a few white ornaments and an inscription which I colored with Cafe au Lait Embossing Powder.
