Hello Lindy’s friends
Today I am back to share with you a very effective technique, how to apply transfer foil on a beautiful background created with Lindy’s Magicals and Magical Shakers. This technique is very easy, you just need a little bit of patience and you can achieve truly amazing effects. I’ve prepared a video tutorial for you, but let’s start with some basic steps and a few photos.
Basic Process
- Wet the paper with water (this works best on watercolor paper)
- Apply Lindy’s powders with a brush, sprinkling them over the wet part of the page (of course you can use sprays to do this as well!)
- Spray some more water, if needed, to move the paint more freely, then dry it with a heat tool
- Use transfer foil adhesive (if the glue is not very fluid, try adding some water to it) and with a brush or even a tootbrush, sprinkle the glue over the page
- Let it dry a little
- Add the transfers foil (or flakes)
- Rub off the excess of the foil
- Add some embossing (you’ll find some hints on how to use the embossing powders in the video)
- Add embellishments.
This is the background I’ve created:
Few close-ups so you can see how I’ve decorated the background.
