Using Magical Powder over Stencils with Caroline

Hi lovelies!

Caroline with you today to share another fun technique. You all know that you can spray over a stencil but did you ever try to use Magical powder over one? Sometimes I go away for cropping time with friends and I don’t bring all my material, that’s why I love Magicals so much.

You can easily bring a lot of colors in a smaller bag, rather than bringing all your sprays with you.

I made this background using only 1 Magical color over a white watercolor paper. I chose Hydrangea blue.

With a fan-shaped brush I sprinkled a small amount of magical powder over my stencil.

Then I gently sprayed water over it. Don’t use too much liquid, or it can flow under your stencil.

I worked with 2 papers side by side to use the leftover ink that remained on my stencil, I simply turned it over the new paper and pressed a bit.

Now I have 2 backgrounds ready for the price of 1 ๐Ÿ™‚

I picked up the first background to continue my layout. I sprayed some snowflake die cuts with the same color,ย Hydrangea blue.

My title was embossed with Bavarian blue powder, this blue fit perfectly with my background and picture.

I will never say enough how gorgeous are the shimmers in the starburst sprays and magical powders!
