Hello Gang! Yulianna Efremova here and I’m so excited to be here with another great project as a Lindy’s Ambassador.
For this month’s project, I’m going to show you how to make a Mixed Media Notepad “Heron” perfect for your desk and showing off your favorite pens and pencils. I’ve colored this with Starburst sprays from Lindy’s. I’ve used Starburst sprays: Hag’s Wart Orange, Milk Chocolate, Prima Donna Purple, Ponderosa Pines Olive, Hydrangea Blue,Rudolph’s Nose Red, Alpine Ice Rose to create my Notepad.
You could create a similar piece with your favorite colors or theme.
I wanted to make it easy for you to make something like this yourself, so I’ve filmed a video so you can see just what to do to make this at home.
BASIC PROCESS
1. Glue pieces of scrap paper on the blank pages
2. Randomly apply texture paste
3. Spray as you want with Hag’s Wart Orange, Milk Chocolate, Prima Donna Purple, Ponderosa Pines Olive, Hydrangea Blue, Rudolph’s Nose Red
4. Slice paper into identical squares.
5. Glue a diamond at the same distance and stitch along the edges of the squares.
6. Cut the page in half and stick it on the base of the spread
7. Glue a crane and edge in a white pen
8. Splash with white primer.
9. Add words colored using Alpine Ice Rose and glue onto page
10. Apply using a mask and black ground
11. Done!
