Sea Sunset Canvas using Lindy’s Squirts and Sprays

Hello Lindy’s lovers! Today I’ll show you how I made this beautiful marine canvas.  I’ve used earthy slightly non-traditional ocean colors – but the result is so beautiful.

I used not only ready to purchase decorations but also the available materials, such as tree branches, a piece of natural linen fabric, mesh and seashells – oh and Lindy’s gorgeous Squirts and Sprays.

First I glued the branches and fabric onto the canvas since this takes more time to dry. I crumpled the fabric in the process of gluing.

Then he carefully covered everything in white gesso (two layers) and then glued on the netting over the top.

Gather and glue different types of decor onto the canvas.

And once again cover all with two layers of gesso.

For additional texture, I added a little pasta with the effect of sand.

Next, I started working with color. The first color that I used is Whale Watch Blue Shimmer Spray.

Added contrasting color California Poppy Gold Shimmer Spray.

And final accents in darker shades of Poutine Gold

and Beaver Tail Brown.

Dry thoroughly.  It turned out like this…

Tone it down with a little white gesso for fixing and blending color.

Now proceed to add additional decor. Cover the chipboard frame with embossing powder Sunset Yellow Orange.

In addition to the frames, add a little more paper decor, a flower and metal decorations. That’s done!
