Hello Lindy’s lovers, Alicja here today to show you step by step how to create the background of this sea turtle using beautiful Lindy’s colors in Squirts and sprays.
To create this kind of project you need a base in any shape you like – I chose a sea turtle designed by me.
First of all, cover the whole base with white gesso using a brush or spatula if you want texture. After drying, grab Lindy’s Loonie Toonie Teal Squirt and pour it on the top. Spray the paint with water and leave to dry.
Add Luscious Lemon Flat Fabio Spray in the middle of the base, spray with a small amount of water and dry with a heat tool. Repeat until you achieve the effect you like the most.
I like the color combo and these little stains.
To make the background more interesting and textured, add a big mandala chipboard and cover it with Midnight Violet embossing powder.
It’s a bit dark but shines with a beautiful shade of violet.
Last but not least, use black archival ink and make some random stamping. It seems to be a perfect finish of the backgroud.
Yes, it’s done! Now you can create the composition using your favorite elements. I decided to use paper cut seashells, sisal, gauze, little bottles filled with sand and pearls.
