Hello Sweeties
Today I’m up on the Lindy’s Gang blog with a new tutorial for you all, I can’t wait to show you how I created this gorgeous altered brush, colored with yummy products from Lindy’s Gang.
Basic Process
- Prime the brush with clear gesso, as well as the resin leaves
- Prime the frame with black gesso
- Paint the frame with silver Stormy, then dry
- Paint the frame again using Banff Blue Squirt, then dry
- Highlight the details of the frame with silver wax
- Paint the resin leaves with Sea Grass Green and Ponderosa Pines Olive Lindy’s Magicals
- Paint the navy blue flowers with Silver Stormy Magical Shakers
- Die-cut some flowery branches from watercolor paper
- Paint the die-cut with all the previous colors and to finish spray them with Long John’s Silver spray
- Glue all the elements with a heavy body gel
- Color the brush
- Highlight the frame, the flowers and the resin leaves with an orange wax
- Finish the composition with microbeads and glass beads.
