Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on the Lindy’s Gang blog with a new tutorial for you all, I can’t wait to show you how I created this gorgeous altered brush, colored with yummy products from Lindy’s Gang.

Basic Process

  1. Prime the brush with clear gesso, as well as the resin leaves
  2. Prime the frame with black gesso
  3. Paint the frame with silver Stormy,  then dry
  4. Paint the frame again using Banff Blue Squirt, then dry
  5. Highlight the details of the frame with silver wax
  6. Paint the resin leaves with Sea Grass Green and Ponderosa Pines Olive Lindy’s Magicals
  7. Paint the navy blue flowers with Silver Stormy Magical Shakers
  8. Die-cut some flowery branches from watercolor paper
  9. Paint the die-cut with all the previous colors and to finish spray them with Long John’s Silver spray
  10. Glue all the elements with a heavy body gel
  11. Color the brush
  12. Highlight the frame, the flowers and the resin leaves with an orange wax
  13. Finish the composition with microbeads and glass beads.
