Hi there!
Nuneka here on the Lindy’s blog today with a very easy project, something small and cute that you can do when you want to give a little gift to your friends, especially to crafty friends. In this case, I just picked some watercolor paper tags and played with different textures to create these gorgeous textured mini tags.
Basic Process to make these little tags
- Cut watercolor paper tags to size
- Add texture paste through a stencil
- Tie string around the tags, you can stick it with washi tape in the back
- Glue on a piece of corrugated cardboard
- Glue some art stones for extra texture
- Cover everything with a light coat of diluted gesso and dry very well
- Sprinkle with your favorite Lindy’s Magicals and spray with water, you can also add some drops of Starburst Sprays
- Dry and add more Magicals if you want darker colors
- Add a darker tone of Magicals around the cluster to create shadows and dry again
- Stamp a background stamp here and there
- Ink the edges of the tags with black ink
- Print a sentiment, cut it and ink the edges too
- Glue the sentiment on top
- Add some liquid pearls to finish
