Christmas cards for orphan home with Julia Kissel

Hello dear friends!

Julia Kissel is here with you. Before Christmas and New Year holidays I always make some cards for children from orphanages, they more than others need care and human warmth. This time I made 9 cards with funny animal stamps from Lindy’s: Beary Special GangElegant Leonard Lion’s GangHen House Henrietta’s GangWe Moose You Gang

In addition I created backgrounds using Magical Shakers. The stamps I also painted Magical Shakers: Cuckoo Clock CardinalOktoberfest OrangeYodeling YellowGuten Tag TealLederhosen LaurelMagnolia Magenta Gold, Bratwurst Brown

The step-by-step video is fun and short.

Basic process

  1. Watercolor paper and Stazon ink were used to make the stamped images
  2. Cut them out along the contour
  3. Cut out a scrap paper card blank and cover it with a translucent medium
  4. Sew it to a contrasting base
  5. Paint background and stamps using Magical Shakers (don’t forget to add some water)
  6. Compile funny composition and glue to the base
